Revlon Creme Brulee

Drug store brand today!

My mom likes to say I'm snobby when it comes to makeup, but I'm here to say that drugstore brands can come out with some great polishes too. And vice versa. I've seen some pretty terrible high end nail polish. Anyway, believe it or not, this polish actually got me into painting my nails again after a loong hiatus. I was going to a wedding and wanted to spice up the outfit, and I found that Crème brûlée matched my dress really well! And here I am today! So blah blah blah, here's the polish!

It has just the smallest amount of brush strokes in it, but I think if you painted your nails a bit more carefully, you'd have better results than I had :)
Two coats makes it opaque and I think the formula is very good. It's a bit thin, but not watery. This is probably one of the more flattering gold shades that I have, but I find generally that I don't really enjoy gold on my skin tone.

I just checked out Revlon's website (browsing for polishes on there isn't a great experience, I don't recommend it) and it's still available, so I'm guessing it's part of the permanent range. I bought mine at Walmart, but I'm sure you can find it in drugstores like Rite Aid or Target. Thanks for stopping by!

And might I add, go Flyers! We actually BEAT THE PENGUINS! That deserves an all caps for sure! I can't believe it! I didn't get to watch the game, because I was over at a friend's house, but I'm sure it was great. It's always fun to watch the Flyers, especially when they beat their rivals. Good times!
